Nearing the end of the year, but nowhere near the end of our story.... ....indeed, we're at the start of a new chapter.

The boys have been busy back at their day jobs having a break after a summer which saw the launch of our already infamous own festival, the Black Isle Belter when 10,000 fans came from across the UK to join the us in the Highlands for a weekend of music, fun and trucks!!

We're looking forward to getting 'Back on the Horse' and out on the road for a couple of weeks in November, before returning to the studio to work on more new music over the winter months.

2025 kicks off in true style, with not only our biggest Glasgow show to date, but we have the honour of being the first act to play the mighty Emirates Arena as part of Celtic Connections.

Then we embark on a wee tour across the UK returning to some cities we've not been to in a couple of years...we're hoping you'll be there to greet us?!

Under Milk Wood
Under Milk Wood

Brigend Theatre Dumfries, Dumfries, DG2 7EA

Sat 15th March 2025 2.30pm & 7.30pm

"Under Milk Wood is arguably Dylan Thomas's most famous and best-loved work. First performed in New York in 1953, this "Play for Voices" was described by the poet himself as "prose with blood pressure".

The play describes 24 hours in the life of Llareggub (read it backwards!), a small, Welsh, fictional seaside town. Although clearly Welsh, the people are universal; mad yet sane, scared but brave, funny and sad, full of hope and pathos. In essence, all of us. Under Milk Wood is a beautifully lyrical, bawdy, heartfelt, humorous and moving evocation of people and place: a Welsh Ulysses.

Dave Nelder's solo performance inhabits all 70-odd characters (some very odd!) as he leads us through their day, from the "darkest-before-dawn" dreamscapes to the alcohol-fuelled night; exploring the conflict between outward respectability and secret inner lives as the townsfolk go about their apparently humdrum lives."
